What kinds of files can File Trimmer shrink?

For code and text it minifies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JSON, XML and plain text, and it can also compress PDFs and produce GZIP/Brotli versions of web assets. Will compressing my images reduce their quality?

Only if you want it to. Lossless mode rewrites images to be smaller with no change to the pixels at all. Lossy mode gives you a quality slider so you decide the balance between size and quality - and a live preview shows you the result before you commit. Does minifying my code change how it works?
